About the Conference 

With the boom of changing demands in the digital transformation arena, digitization of library holds competency among librarians to meet the enhance demands of researchers and hence has led to the onset of the digital revolution of library sector. The key focus of digital transformation for the ongoing digital age is influencing researcher experience with innovations and efficiency. The evolution in the technology sector has revolutionized the academic library to re-define and re-explore the extent of expansion and distribution of its programs and services at vast. To achieve the primary mission, international conference on digital learning and innovation in libraries (ICDLIL2020) is the immense platform to hear the innovative yet challenging ideas.

APPEAL JOIN ICDLIL 2020 BY MEMBERS OF INTERNATIONAL ADVISORY BOARD

ASSOCIATION OF INDIAN LAW LIBRARIES

Idea of Association of Indian Law Libraries (AILL) was coined during first International conference on Access to Legal Information and Research in Digital Era (ICALIRDA) organised at National Law University Delhi in 2012, where law librarians of Law Schools, Courts, Law Firms and governmental bodies from India, met and expressed their willingness on the need to establish a law librarians’ association in India. Mr. Jereon Vervilet, Director, Peace Palace Library, The Hague, Netherlands and President, International Association of Law Libraries (IALL), Prof. Tami Gierloff, Professor & Assistant Dean, Lewis & Clark Law School, Portland and Mr. Jonathan Franklin, Director Library, University of Washington witnessed their presence during the meetings and events.


Mr. Jereon Vervilet, Director, Peace Palace Library, The Hague, Netherlands and the President, International Association of Law Libraries (IALL) played a major role in conceiving the idea of Association of Indian Law Libraries with even numbers of suggestions and recommendations. A number of communications and draft memorandum(s) were exchanged between law librarians for setting Association of India Law Libraries during a long period.


Law Librarians of Association of Indian Law Libraries (AILL) was finally set up and announced in 2018 during the First International Conference on Digital Transformation: Preservation, Policy and Privacy (ICDT) at National Law University Delhi.  Most of the law librarians from state law schools, law firms, courts and governmental institutions are members of this association.


The Association has been setup with the objectives of development law and library sciences in India; trainings for library professionals to serve better in law institutions and organisations; visualising development of laws and new techniques in library sciences to enhance information services; and publication of latest developments in law libraries around the world for awareness among law and library professionals from AILL platform. The Association is committed to assist its members for serving in best manners to their clientele with the help of advanced technology introduced. AILL maintains OJS based platform for publishing law and library science related scholarships in its peer reviewed journal known as Journal of Association of Indian Law Libraries” (JAILL)

MODERN ROHINI EDUCATION SOCIETY

Modern Rohini Education Society (Regd.) was established under the act 1860 dated 02 August 1985 with the aim of working in the service of humanity. The major focus of the Modern Rohini Education Society (Regd.) is the promotion of the following for all sections of the society and also providing medical aid to the needy persons

Modern Rohini Education Society ( Regd.) had taken first step and successfully hosted india’s virtual conference, using the platform of online conference and becomes first organization host conference via online and it was successfully as 87 paper presentations done.

  3. To establish health centers, hospitals and also support the cases who      are in need of medical and surgical help.
  4. To provide scholarship and educational assistance for deserving              students.
  5. To establish and run library, hostels, high schools, non formal                    education classes adult literacy and coaching classes and also                  support such classes and schools being run by others for the                    promotion of education.
  6. To establish institutions specially to support the cause of women’s            education and empowerment.
